Natalia Zaretsky

Natalia Zaretsky has lived two rich lives the first in Russia, the second in the United States. She was born in Moscow, graduated from the University, and taught Physics in college in Moscow. Because of anti-Semitism and official lies in the dungeon of a country, she emigrated in the middle of her life. In the United States she has been working as a computer programmer. She combines in her poetry the wisdom of her age, her experience of two worlds, and her connection with Judaism and Israel. She writes in one of her poems, "...a poem is airborne and I happen to be there."

She won a fourth prize for two of her poems in Poetry Magazine, Rochurst Review 2003 Her poems have been published in Iliad Press, Unmade Magazine, Sunflower Petals (twice), Sensation Magazine, California Quarterly, Moment, and Jewish Action. Her book of poetry titled: Autumn Solstice, Selected Poetry has been published by Windsong Publishing Div., RBC Publishing Co., Inc, Elk Grove, California.
