Jennifer Thompson received her Ph.D. in comparative literature from the University of California, Irvine; she is currently an assistant professor of humanities at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she teaches creative writing, Holocaust studies, composition, and a course on the representation of violence. She has published poetry in a wide variety of journals, including Eclipse, The California Quarterly, and the Absinthe Literary Review. She also recently collaborated with artist Michael Siegenthaler on a chapbook entitled "The World of Stone."
