I have been writing fiction and poetry for twenty years. My poems have appeared in Peregrine, The Peralta Press, New Rag Rising, The California Review, and RiverSedge. I have poems appearing soon in Poetry Motel and in the on-line journal Jerseyworks. I also won Honorable Mention in the 2001 Quadrangle Poetry Contest sponsored by the Springfield (MA) Library. I live and write in Greenfield, Massachusetts and I am working on a novel. When I'm not writing I work as a host at a local restaurant or work on my business plan to open up an independent video store here in town. Right now I am reading Colm Toibin's The Master. Poets who have inspired me include Thomas Lux, Stephen Dobyns, Billy Collins and Marie Howe.
