John Alexanderson
Pittstown, NJ

In 2000, I retired from The Prudential Insurance Company and took a school bus route for fun and a little income. I had no interest in writing poetry until 1997 and had done little artistic in my life, but always wanted to. There were a number of musicians [no poets] in my family, so maybe I have the right genes. I enjoy expressing feelings, human interactions, and, especially, memories through poetry.

Outside of writing, I collect antique radios, teach at my church [Grace Community Church of Bridgewater, NJ], and run twenty miles a week to try to stay young.

I have been published in Bucks County Writer, Penwood Review, Evangel, and War Cry, among others.
